You wake up, and slowly fall out of bed one morning. You groan as you rise to your feet, and walk over to your closet where you throw on the first things you come across, before heading out the door.

Before class you check your mail. You flip through it and come across a bill from the college.

College meets desired enrollment

The College's Office of Admissions announced that, as of May 6, it had received 564 deposits for September and 92 for February enrollment. The numbers ensured that it would fill its target enrollment size of 570 for September and 90 students for February, after only 18.

Task Force finds sexist social scene on campus

While gender relations across campus have generally improved over the last decade, sexism remains a dominant and controlling facet of social life, a report released April 29 from the Task Force on the Status of Women (TSW) at the College found. In the report, the group acknowledges gains made by women, but stresses the amount of work remaining for the community, while also raising broader issues, irrespective of gender, for the College to consider.

Search and rescue workers assisting with the investigation into the disappearance of Middlebury first-year Nick Garza '11 believe they spotted Garza's body in Otter Creek over two weeks ago during an aerial search of the area. Despite the claim, officials with the Middlebury Police Department (MPD) cautioned against premature conclusions.

The communication department is feeling the sting of serious budget problems. High construction costs and a lack of funding forced those planning the construction of a renovated Campus Center to kill plans for a new TV studio, radio station and Spartan office.
