It has been a long time since I last attended a Middlebury College Musical Players (MCMP) show, and I must admit that this is because my prior experiences with the group as a participant and audience member were less than satisfactory. The Middlebury College Musical Players are susceptible to a number of continual problems, as they lack the funding, training and facilities of the Theatre Department.

On the surface, Fulton Professor of Humanities and Director of Literary Studies Stephen Donadio seems to fit right into the academic archetype. He looks just as you would expect a person to look who has been a professor for four decades, serves as the founding director of the College's Literary Studies Program and is currently the editor of a prestigious literary magazine, the New England Review.

The drivers in South Burlington ran into a bit of a traffic jam Wednesday afternoon.
The vehicles weren't stopped as the result of an accident, rather to allow an excited group of mostly females without shoes to cross the street. Passengers stuck their heads out of the windows to snap pictures, and a man pushing a stroller narrowly avoided being pushed into the street.
